So far this year I think I have seen the following mentioned;

 

Muggings

Multiple boat break ins

Cars in the canal

Dogging in the moorers car park

Flashing

 

Multiple boat break ins must be a total pain in the arse, luckily I've only got the one so I'm safe.

 

Also, I wonder if #3 is related to #5?

You don't often find these terms on the main advert either:

 

"These moorings are for the sole use of the winning bidder. Renting out of the mooring or the boat on the mooring will not be authorised at any time and will automatically result in the mooring contract being terminated"

They' are standard terms in CRT mooring contracts, which are available at the click of a mouse. Maybe there's been a problem on this site before.

Well, for some the view of the doggers from the comfort of their boat, rather than the discomfort of their car, may be an incentive??

10k is about average for a marina berth in Poole harbour. The most costly marina berths are said to be found in Falmouth.

I'm surprised it's not more. Port Solent wanted £7.5k for our 25fter!

Down in Falmouth it is about 18k per berth. Having more then a dozen marinas in Poole Harbour does tend to keep the price. Cobbs Quay has had to reduce it's prices, to try and keep it's berth holders, all thanks to the Twin Sails bridge breaking down all the time.
