Fuel flow rate for DAF 575?

Hi all,

 

I think the chandler gave me the wrong sized fuel filter for my engine. Does anyone know what the fuel flow rate for a DAF 575 is?

The Delphi (ex CAV/Lucas) fuel book quotes the small filter as used on the BMC 1.5 (296) as having a flow rate of 10 gallons per hour - I would lay odds your DAF never gets anywhere near that. The next sizes up double their flow rate up to 40 gallons an hour.

 

I am sure other makes will be similar.
