Know any good castles?

RAG Coningsby gets a lot of mentions but I didn't notice any mention of Tattershall castle which is a cock's stride from the  river. The castle is a fine intact brick building the walls at the base are I believe 15 feet thick, a lot of bricks. 

In case anybody doesn't know, the reason why there are so many airfields in and around Lincoln is that the bombers were able to take off over the edge of Lincoln cliff meaning that the planes had instant height once they cleared the end of the runway.

And it was close to Germany. And it was flat.
