CanalWalker
Does anyone know any history of this boat at Skipton? Its not in my book of working boats on the L-L. I should have asked the people on it...
DHutch
Yeah, looks like a nice boat... - Cant tell any more than you know though really, Certianly looks very much like an L&L short boat, same shape and design as Dee and Weaver etc. Daniel
bjornunda
Eller is a Liverpool Short Boat. Ian Clarke at Pennine Cruisers, Skipton should be able to help. I believe he is one of the Clarke & Co that Eller is carrying (see second photo) and may be the owner. You can contact him through his website. Paul H
I suspect it is a replica. The sides look uncharacteristically smooth and I cannot see any rivets. Also if you look at the chap at the front of the boat in the orange T-shirt (as opposed to the other one crouching down) he looks a bit out of scale. I suspect theerfore that it is also only about 10ft wide. Paul H

Did you get anywhere with contacting Ian Clarke? Daniel
allybsc
Yes, it is Ian's boat, he usually gets his shells from Dual Duel and fits them out himself. I'm not sure who built this one but it's only a couple of years old. He needs it he has a very big family. The scale is deceptive as Colin is a big bloke (orange Tshirt man)
