MPPT control wiring question

Hi my new solar set up has just arrived yeah!

The bit that is confusing me is the load wiring I understand the solar panel and battery input wires but not the load? I assumed the load was as is now from the 12 volt batteries. Do I now need to connect the mppt controller to the + and - side of the circuit breaker input panel?

Sorry not good at explaining hope that makes some sense.

don't bother with the load input during installation, just connect your batteries first (with an inline fuse) , and then your solar panels.

The load can be used for something like a nightlight and can be programmed to come on at a certain time.

A boat I had to rewire recently had an owner who couldn't work out why she had no lights and water supply, except for once a day for an hour- her entire 12V system had been connected to the load - and her panels to the wrong side of the isolator, when switched off, it stopped the panels charging.
