Boat sunk in Higherland Lock, Gargrave, Leeds & Liverpool

Featured Posts

There's a hire boat sunk in Higherland lock at Gargrave on the Leeds & Liverpool,

No-one hurt but likely to be a few hours before it reopens,

apparently the back end got stuck by the gate as the boat went diagonally across the lock

and as the lock filled the front went up and the back didn't !

Titus,

You up there this week?

Are you out on the weekend of the 26/27th?

We set off for the Ashby then.

Receiving that call saying 'we've had a bit of a mishap' is sickening - I have been there.

Hopefully all guests are ok.
