Karma Dreams
Soon need to get her booked in for the 'bottom' to done, and wondered if anyone could recommend a base that they would definitely go back to? Oh.. and possibly can stay onboard whilst in dock as well. Looking around and asking prices from other boaters there is a lot of differing prices So, any recs would be most welcome. Woodstock
I remember a couple of liveaboard boaters at our old marina hired a dry dock at Trent lock and did both boats at the same time so shared the cost and stayed aboard
NB Lola
We are based in Kings Bromley and we go to Paul Barber on the Erewash. Very good value and with Paul being a steel man he is very knowledgable. Only takes 2 short days to get there. I have sent you a pm
Bloomsberry
I would have thought Streethay would be the nearest place to Kings Bromley to have your boat blacked.A couple of years ago I took mine to Shobnall in Burton-on-Trent and did it myself. They pressure wash the vessel for you and provide all the materials (have to pay for them of course), all you've got to do is slap it on and try to get most of it on the boat !At the time there was a couplie who stayed on their boat throughout although I wouldn't recommend it. It is in a covered dry dock and the smell from the fumes is quite noticeable and can't do your health much good staying any length of time in those conditions.I would get yourself a local B&B.Think they charged 350 quid for 3 days.
