York/Ouse help to view a boat?

Bit of a long shot I guess, but if someone knowledgeable could spare an hour to look over a boat with me on Sunday, please let me know.

Cassi - a good guy to talk to in the general area is Mike Boulton of Blue Star Surveys http://www.bluestarsurveys.co.uk/. I always suggest people in Yorkshire have a word with him as he may well have knowledge of the boat(s) in question. He's an extremely approachable guy happy to talk about boats all day, and if you have a boat in mind he will do you a "walk round" survey without it costing the earth, just to give an opinion as to whether the boat is worth proceeding with.

 

The thing about Mike is he really doesn't much like narrowboats so he is well and truly dispassionate!
