NB Alton
Hi Jenny & Stewart, Hope you're keeping well. Obviously I'm biased, but usually fuel boats are good value for diesel, for a comprehensive list of these see:- http://lock13.co.uk/boats/coaldiesel.htm Liam & Kerry on Ariel deliver on the Bridgewater into Manchester and Derek Bent on Ambush is based near Wigan & delivers up to Haskayne on the Leeds & Liverpool. Hope that helps, , Brian

You can also get a pump-out at Shire Cruisers at the East end of the Rochdale, and they are AFAIK the only purveyors of diesel.
pelicanafloat
Thank you very much for the informative and helpful replies, it is much appreciated. We will take note of Hebden Bridge and Shire Cruisers. Meanwhile we will definitely get in contact with the 2 fuel boats and see if our paths will cross Brian, lovely to hear from you,and we hope you and Ann Marie are well. We hope we might meet up later in year when we return to Rugby via the Macclesfield Canal (and grab some fuel )
