I've used craft insure for sailing dinghy's

 

I'm not sure how they would cope if it were an unknown make (tender type dinghy)

 

Could you add a tender to your main boat insurance (assuming you have a 'main' boat)

I have a dinghy covered by craftinsure.

 

they didn't ask for a make, or anything else, premiums are £40 a year for comprehensive insurance.

 

It's also covered as a tender on my main craft policy, but as it gets used independantly, it's insured as such.
