Derek R.
That was the price of a 75 minute trip in 1980. A blast from 1980 (when we were married) A4 size hardback from a local charity shop, some fine views of ARCTURUS, Mr. Nicoll, and friends. Does anyone recognise themselves? Copyright to Polystyle Publications 1979, with a detailed account of both ARCTURUS and SIRIUS, how Mr. Nicoll found them, had Walkers refit for passenger carrying, and with Mrs. Nicoll decorating ARCTURUS (and possibly SIRIUS, which at the time of publication was being restored) gave many people an insight into canal travel. A total of four pages on the canals, and accurate too.

I have PMed a link to the thread. hopefully he'll join in, to tell us more.
