It is such a schelp into town where ever you moor, that's for sure.

Moorings behind Reading Jail aren't far from the Town Centre and outside the Thames Water Building next to Reading Bridge are just a few minutes from the Railway Station. Come to think of it, moorings by Caversham Bridge are very handy for Caversham which to my mind is a better shopping centre than Reading. All in all not too bad.
