Guest
Wondered if anybody on here knew why this boat http://www.whiltonmarina.co.uk/used-narrow...tails/1645.aspx was for sale. They were a really canny couple who we shared going down Bingley Five Rise with last August - they had loved their first winter on the boat and from memory were continuously cruising. Just curious as I remember really liking their boat as we chatted. Fat finger typo edit Edited March 20, 2010 by MJG

alan_fincher
A Liverpool Boats boat with fake rivets ? Can't be many of those surely ? Are we sure it's not a rather poor effort at disguising Que Sera Sera ? EDIT: Oh, and just noticed it has both bow and stern thrusters apparently! One of those where you can just stop mid channel beside a suitable mooring, press the relevant buttons, and shoot in sideways..... Me ? Jealous ? Never ! I remember it well principally because of it's unusual name and graphic - we chatted about it as we descended the locks. I can't remember now why it was so called. Oh, and just noticed it has both bow and stern thrusters apparently! It does - indeed. Edited March 20, 2010 by MJG
Smelly
I wonder whether those extra "central" anodes have been scraped off yet.
Speedwheel
does any body else have any coments. Fake rivets are in the wrong place. If builders are going to put them on, they might at least bother to check where they go!
Keeping Up
Oh, and just noticed it has both bow and stern thrusters apparently! One of those where you can just stop mid channel beside a suitable mooring, press the relevant buttons, and shoot in sideways..... I think it's the boat we went up Hatton with last year. They were using the twin thrusters to good effect, moving sideways in the locks so that we only ever had to use one gate for the two boats.
