Hello,

I am looking for some data feeds for tide times - I contacted UKHO but they said they are not in a position to help me. They provide the service - http://easytide.ukho.gov.uk/EasyTide/EasyTide/index.aspx - which essentially has the DATA i need.

Does anyone else know of a service similar to this?

cheers

Here are two more sites which you may find useful.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/coast/tides/

http://www.pol.ac.uk/ntslf/tidalp.html

Most ports aropund the coast also provide tide information - the larger ones via their VTS systems. As an example, here is the one for my local one - ABP Humber.

http://www.humber.com/

I hope this is useful.

If its London Area then

http://www.pla.co.uk/display_fixedpage.cfm...1/site/maritime

gives you all you need to know

Or

http://www.wxtide32.com/

will give you a program that will calc it for you

having said that his disclaimer is good:

Do not rely on the output of this program for decisions that can result in harm to any person or property. There is no way to provide certified data on a zero budget so if you need guaranteed results then WXTide32 is not for you.

But its within a few minutes either way
