I couldn't agree more. Cold beans on toast are terrible. However, when younger at a boarding school, I used to have food parcels sent from home and cold beans were great. But that was a few years back !!

Now, cold beans from the tin is a rare delicacy. It's strange how odd half tins of beans disappear from our fridge...

Different sons with different mates have spent time on the boat over the last two weeks , i filled the cupboards full with easy to cook tinned food , lots of beans ,lots 12 cans ,macaroni cheese , ravioli ,spagetti ect, went the boat yesterday and the cupboards are bare except for 2 tins of carrots and all dishes and pans are spotless as i left them , did they eat it all cold.
