River Soar- water levels

Hi, we are off on our summer trip at the weekend,

Does anybody know what the current water levels are

on the Soar? Hopefully not in the red!

ive had a few boats come past me today via trent so presume is open but could change this afternoon as i believe theres flooding in derbyshire which will make the soar back up,,

At barrow water is normal....well as normal as anything ever is

just driven past kegworth shallow lock (flood lock) 8pm and it's not in use... so water levels look fine.

Wasn't in the office this afternoon so didn't have a chance to look at river levels on my way home. If I remember I'll look tomorrow morning.

I agree Barrow and normal are rarely used in the same sentence!!!

I think we missed quite a lot of rain here that came down in Notts on Wednesday day time and overnight in Chesterfield so I think you'll be ok. Blue(ish) skies here this morning and I've just checked outside and the water levels are normal (if not low where I'm moored).

Was hoping that rain would have topped the river up a bit. We are heading that way in a couple of weeks and we need all the water we can get
