BLACKCOUNTRY LAD Posted June 17, 2005 Report Share Posted June 17, 2005 Can anyone tell me is there a battery topup system that will stop pouring when the correct fluid level is reached.It is impossible to see the levels in my batteries due to the lack of head room.Iam use a mirror to see the level when toping up but this is not very accurate. dor Posted June 18, 2005 Report Share Posted June 18, 2005 Daniel: the spout had a spring-loaded star-shaped bit that protruded from the spout, connected to a poppet-type valve. You turned it upside down and nothing came out until you pressed the spout sproggy thing on the top of the plates, This opened the valve and let the water flow in, but when the spout itself was covered the flow stopped.
