  4. The Pop-Port™ interface is the new interface of the next generation of mobile phones and users. Pop-Port interface enables several functions to be incorporated into one interface, providing the link you have been waiting for. Designed for the mobile environment and supporting advanced functions, the Pop-Port common system interface for accessories enables new and exciting products and widening your selection of phone add-ons. It will be possible to control cameras, digital music players, and stereo headsets - to name but a few - through your phone menu using the Pop-Port interface system connector. And as the Pop-Port interface will be the standard across several Nokia phone models, it will enable better compatibility between your phone and accessories, allowing for more intelligent control of your mobile life. Use a Ca55 converter this gives you a arial point for any pop port Nokia.
  5. The Nokia N series phones do not have a external point but if used in the car cradle from Nokia it picks up through the bottom conections.

  8. The one in our B&Qis not a lot bigger than the ones you see on boats, and according to the spec sheet you just feed it into the ring main through a fused spur also there is a goverment grant towards the cost of the unit but it does not say how much, or if it will be available for a boat. It does say that it needs a 6 w supply to it to energise it so it will have to be fed from an inverter on the boat all in all anyone with a high dependance on electric like me would find this usfull.
  9. B & Q have just started selling a wind generator it is expencive but has quite a high speck http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav/nav.jsp?...s=1160736735591
  10. I think the best way is to have the boat built round the engine, you can always have a hole cut later if you have to remove it in one bit, and all you are doing by having a hatch in the roof is making a place for leaks with bolts and lips to trip you up.
  11. Are we talking Saga ? Coz if we are they were several £100 more than anyware else for my boat..... car.... house and everything else i asked for a quote for.
  12. umm i dont pivot at the centre but someware around 8-9 foot from the rear.

  14. I used the Bosch ones on 10mm and cut about 12 holes , just bought a Dewalt one coz the company i use had stoped selling the Bosch ones, Had to get a new spigot for it but it seems better than the Bosch.
  15. Gas is not safe, though there will be many that will disagree with me. Gas is heaver than air so it sinks to the floor, in a caravan or house that is ok it just goes out through the door or in a caravan through holes or vents in the floor, but in a boat it collects in the shell till it gets some form of spark then goes bang. In saying that it is not the system that is not safe but any leak that is prescent. or any spillage when you change the bottle though that should be in its owne container that is vented at the bottom.
  16. they went last week then came back now they have gone again.

  20. I used the bosch ones up to 100 mm in 10mm steel the only problem is i burnt out 2 drills trying to drill so slow so i bought a cheep STA impact drill that i could switch off the impactor fron b&q this is a very slow drill and i have had no problems with it.
  21. Are you still working and getting paid or are you just twiddling your thumbs?
  22. You are probably right. still never mind if you can't beat em join em, I will stop paying moorings and become a bridge hopper
  23. I would still do it on the saw and perhaps a pass on the planer, i certainly would not set up the S/Molder for that. and anyway i dont have a straight cutter that size . it should only need a sanding, off the blade of the saw. Where abouts in the country are you anyware near me?
