If you like to challenge of using a different engine, then give it a go. I'd love to see the results, take and upload lots of photos so we can see how its going!

Progress. Narrowed the potential boat builders down to three. Settled on 60ft cruiser stern shell. Currently planning out the interior and deciding on windows. Leaning towards composting loo. Found potential mooring in Newark, further from Sheffield than I'd like, but possible until something better comes up. On waiting lists for closer moorings.

 

Good stuff. When are you planning to have your engine ready for your hull? Will you be getting the hull builder to install it or are you giving him the dimensions for the engine bearers?

 

Are you planning to do your fit out on your mooring or do you plan to do a dry land build?
