Fuel Lift Pump

Featured Posts

I've just done a quick search online for a replacement fuel lift pump for a Perkins D3 and it appears there are two types. One of them has a short, wide arm, and the other has a long, thin arm. Does anybody know which one I will need as a replacement?

I'm guessing it will depend on whatever type the engine is geared for but I bought one a couple of years ago from a local shop (none boaty) no questions asked and it fitted and was okay. Unfortunately the receipt is on the boat so I can't get any part numbers or any other info...
