3 days of music, boats, beer and fun.

 

Following the withdrawal of BW (spit), Stroud District Council have agreed to apply to be the new Lead Partner for the project, so the Cotswold Canals need your money more than ever.

Looking forward to it. Last time I went I wasnt a boat owner (or even thinking about it!)

Its going to be great to just fall out the boat into the festival. (hopefully missing the water)

Jane has volunteered to sell ice creams and I am in the Drum & Monkey bar sometimes working behind it!

Is that this weekend? I always seem to miss it despite living in the area most of my life.

Jane has volunteered to sell ice creams and I am in the Drum & Monkey bar sometimes working behind it!

SWMBO is helping in the children's area. I've got one session as a "Bridge Marshall" (but how I got promoted beyond Deputy is a mystery to me), and two sessions on the moorings. I'm practicing my goose-step and I'm pleased to say that it's coming on well!

I've managed to fall off Gypsy this morning and broken a rib.

 

We'll still be there somehow, but the timing could have been better!
