made to measure mattresses?

Hi all - just about to have a new "bed" fitted and to maximise the space it's a non-standard size (and shape)

 

Anyone got any recommendations for places that make made to measure mattresses please?

If there is one it's worth trying a local upholsterer rather than going to a specialist boaty place. That's what we did with excellent results and I think a lot cheaper.

Yes yes were abouts in notts bed centre in hyson green got ours made to measure

We have just had a Mattress made by Edwardian bedding Company, its very comfortable,made in two parts and thicknesses to suit the bed.

We went to the Bed Centre at Tamworth, they advertise in WW. Excellant service. Just remember a sprung mattress comes in multiples of three inches.

After the weekend I'm actually going to be in Loughborough rather than Notts so Tamworth is a good option. Actually there's a upholstery place just up the way from where I am now so I may give them a call tomorrow.

 

Thanks for the 3 inches reminder! I'll get measured up and get some quotes in.

Our local discount bedding emporium 'Silly Sids Saves You Quids' in Derby can get most multiples of 3 inches within a few days - we just got a 6ft 3 X 2 ft for £80 including delivery and taking the old one away.
