That only really works when there are a small number of members... as each picture takes up memory on their hosting package.

If your forum was as big as CanalWorld... there is no way the facility could be offered.

We could offer image hosting, the forum software full supports, and it could be switch on right now.

- However as sam says, when you have a large number of members and posts per day it wouldn't be long until you would start needing some fairly serous hosting.

- Hence the decision was made to keep the forum free to use, and suggest that where possible, members use free third-party image hosting facilities, such as imageshack or photobucket.

- On top of that, as fuzzy has mentioned, we also have the forum gallery's. Where you con directly upload a number of images, which are then resized to a manageable size, and hosted on the forums server.
