Dimmingsdale Bridge - AGAIN!!!!

So for the 2nd time this year, or is it the 3rd?, the parapet of Dimmingsdale has been knocked into rhe canal. When will the Council/Highways authorities do some thing constructive at this site. Single lane working with barriers inside the bridge would do it, controlled by lights if necessary. The banning of the quarry traffic would go a long way to reducing traffic flow and offer some protection to the bridge. At least the culprits are known, so the exhorbitant cost of repair to this listed structure will be met, albeit by all of us in increased insurance premiums.

Second I think - the last time was in May. I suspect it's a case of a fast moving vehicle heading south on Langley Road suddenly facing a Y with the choice of a right hand bend or a left turn into Dimmingsdale Road and leaving the decision too late to turn tight enough for the bend. A mini roundabout so all directions approach with the requirement to give way might help?
