NB Hopalong Posted November 22, 2023 Report Share Posted November 22, 2023 Hi All, can anyone here suggest an alternative way of removing the Injectors on a BMC1.8 the BMC manual says you need to use tool 18G284 and 18G284P as seen in picture attached. I undid the pipes and two nuts and then used a roll or pry bar between the head and the bit the injector pipe screws onto the as close to the body as I could. Most came out without a problem. If that did not work, then two roll bars, one on either side. In extremis, put the nuts back on several turns and the injector pipe, then start it. o not do that without the nuts in place.
