Hello All.

 

My name is Marie,, and I'm the granddaughter of Joe and Lucy Allcott of the boating fraternity.  We lived in Braunston at the stop house for several years where Joe worked for British Waterways until his passing in 1988.

 

I'm looking at tracking as much information on his side of the family,, 

His dad was William Allcott b.1884 and known s a canal man.   

Can anyone point me in the right direction 🙂

Yes my nan and grandad,, still over looking the canal where their plot is.

 

The link to the Allcotts was shared to me yesterday by a relative,, found it really interesting,  but would like to see if any other Allcott history could be found x.
