Both paddles now broken. Waiting for CRT to fix it- may be 4 or 5 hours or tomorrow..

Looks like being tomorrow now.

CRT  have cleared the boats waiting below 32 into pound below 31,I guess they will be draining that pound.

No more boats arriving behind me so assume they have shut the flight at the top and bottom.

Nice one.  There is no stoppage for this so hopefully that means it will be fixed tomorrow morning, we are intending to go up the bottom 5 locks at Hatton tomorrow, so fingers crossed.  I guess we will find out when we get to the bottom.

It's the lugs on the paddles that have rotted away or failed.

New paddles are already here, the pound is drained and CRT are fitting them at the moment. 🙂

I am on nb Eddie below 31 so if you dont want to walk to see whats going on..

We are on the approach to Leamington at the other side at the moment, will move later on, assuming open to get to bottom late afternoon.  We only want to get up to where you are today.  
 

I would appreciate an update when it opens, as CRT will inevitably lag a bit in updating the stoppage notice.

CRT announced navigation reopened at 12:17.

All good. Opened a while ago but got a bit tied up towing one off the bottom and another through a couple of locks 😀
