Yeah - that's the sort of thing. I wouldn't keep it on all night - just to get the bed a bit toasty before retiring and turning it off before dozing off.

12v electric blanket? Sounds like a great idea for knackering your batteries, especially when you wake up at 7am and realised you dozed off last night without switching it off. I know that many diesel heaters use battery power for ignition & the pump, but the idea of using your batteries to heat your bed seems ridiculous to me, unless perhaps you're on shorepower with an intelligent battery charger.
