BMC 2.2 Coolant Pump Refurb.

The bearing has failed on my coolant pump, it wasn't leaking but it was loose and very noisy.  Posting a parts list to benefit the collective knowledge.

Outer: 1-9/16

Inner: 5/8

Width: 7/16

Part number I ordered  LJ5/8-2RS

Number required 2

Price £3.61 each

Bolts 5/16 UNF

Length 1"

Spring Washer 5/16

Number required 4.

Price £0.86 each.

I was very surprised to find a ceramic seal inside the coolant pump, mine didn't leak, looked good so I didn't replace. See part num on the photos

Was the usual way of sealing the pump in those days.

When things were made to last!  TBH I was wondering those were the original bearings that failed... if the are then that's pretty amazing!
