Barrus Shanks Glow Plugs?

Does anyone know where I can source spare glow plugs for my 2009 Barrus Shanks 37 engine? Tried googling but no joy so far....Thanks!!

Have you tried Barrus?  The Shanks is a Chinese base engine adapted for Barrus.  I am not sure there are many other users outside China.

 

Otherwise start by measuring the existing plugs pin length, thread size etc.   The see if you can match those from various makers catalogues.

I emailed Barrus a couple days ago but no response....I'll do as you suggest and remove one and measuring it! Hopefully there is another manufacturer that matches the spec....Thanks

There should be some identification number on the plug. Then try EBay, I was quoted around £25 per plug from a Diesel engine servicing company, got exactly the same plugs for £1 apiece!

Thanks for the advice! Sounds like you can get ripped off when looking for obscure spares......

Try to buy genuine Bosch or a jap brand like Denso or Kiki......the plugs will last 100 times longer  than Mao s revenge.......the quality plugs will be a lot more expensive ,for sure.
