Heartland Posted June 16, 2021 Report Share Posted June 16, 2021 The Birmingham History Forum has a post by Jane Telfer of the locks at Knowle prior to and after widening. Some images have been published elsewhere, but there are some useful images that show the new lock construction as traffic was maintained on the old lock line. There was an engine house, which was removed through the lock widening and an image of this house is shown in the May post.
