calor gas prices

It seems that we can manage to get to the boat now and we have three empty gas bottles. Calor charge about £19 for a refill of the little 4.5 kg bottles, we use these as space is tight so I wonder if it is possible to get a cheaper refill? Unfortunately I think the answer is no but somebody, somewhere might know better.

No doubt it is possible, but whatever brand it is you will have more difficulty replacing the cylinders next time.

You can, from some autogas suppliers who also refill for non Calor suppliers.  Not all will refill anyone else's bottles and the whole operation is potentially risky to you unless the correct venting connector is used.  Over filled bottles are likely to fail.

The only lpg bottles that are safe to re fill are ones designed to be.

 

Filling a bottle not so designed is asking for trouble.
