  1. Surely going for a walk and keeping your distance is less like ly to pass the cold on than going into a shop situation amongst others even if they are keeping their distance? If this happens it will only be because of numpties that keep meeting in parks and beaches etc. Remember homo sapien has many eeejuts amongst it. For more than sixty years we have known that smoking is a stupid thing to do ( It kills million and millions more than this virus ever will ) but people still smoke, unbeleivable but true. Stopping excercise could well be counter productive.

  3. Its dead simple to keep your self in a spot of isolation. Buy a couple of huge framed generaters and stick one on show at the pointy end and one hanging off the arse end. they dont need to work or indeed you need no fuel. I dont moor anywhere near any boat with a poxy gennie and I am not alone.
  4. The problems are often that they sit proud from the side of the cabin and can be damaged. I like wooden windows and made some for my own boat thirty years ago, you wouldnt want to make them like I did lol. Decent ones though will cost as much as buying off the shelf metal ones with a thermal break.

  8. Hes in London. In nice parts of the country just travel a couple of hours and fill with water. Never had a problem in over thirty years.
  9. Yep. I agree. Trouble is now so many peeps actualy believe that Twatter and Farcebook are for real. There are thousands of dating agencies sprung up now because peeps dont know how to interact in pubs and such like that we always did. Met both my wives in pubs lol. I even talk to you sometimes

  21. Ive just tried it and it came out with there or there abouts the 18 x 12 I have fitted. 18 x 12 works on most modern narrowboats between 50 and 70 feet with the standard modern engine and box I find.
  22. I agree again. The Benidorm mentality will end up with more draconian measures due to numpties playing out with their mates. How and what that entails remains to be seen? People still have to shop for food as there is simply no other way at present so that can usualy be a cop out within a few miles of home.
