  1. My engine was "one of the very early 4 cylinder engines" and in 2016 was stripped to the bone and rebuilt by Lister to the latest specification.
  2. It may be a bit late but I have a Lister LPWS4 year 1989 build number 45 and it is nothing like the one in the original post.

  6. I have a replica Dutch Barge and I love it. It may be more difficult to walk the gunwale but this is far outweighed by the additional space it gives you inside. It's a narrowboat that thinks its a widebeam. Mine has a collapsible wheelhouse but low bridges can still be a problem. Just proceed with caution.
