  1. I had a stroke 18 months ago and am unable to do the work myself that is why I asked here.
  2. I am in need of someone to service my engine, it's a Lister SR3 I think. I am based in Kinver on the Staffs & Worcs. I know it needs the fuel filter & oil filter changing and a general service. I have been let down by someone and am in need of a service. I hope you guys can help please
  3. I know it's been a while since I posted here but I promise you I have been lurking. I need to replace both my leisure batteries, any recommendations ? Please note I am not technically minded, all I will need to run is a 12v fridge, an iPad/iPhone and the water pump when i am away from my home moorings. I am not a big consumer of electrical power. After 3 yrs of being on my own I have realised that I don't need another half to be a whole person and that a I have given up on dating sites, and lookin for the "one" if it means that I am on my own with the dog at least a I have my friends which is good enough for me cus you can never have enoufg friends

  8. This morning I learnt that I should not drink Kinver Light Railway beer like it was pop, it has given me a slight headache that is lasting a long time. Oh well what makes you bad makes you better, will have to have a few more tonight

  15. I am in the proccess of refitting my kitchen and would like to include a Multi Fuel Cooker and go gas free. I would like a Rayburn but am resricted on space as my boat is only 45'.   16. I spent 3 years, and doubtless hours walking the towpath looking for the ideal first boa, in the end I walked on my boat and found what I was looking for. It is there just keep looking. As soon as you place your order for a new boat one will come on the market. BB Dave

  18. Listen to Radio 7, relax, go for a walk to the village everyday. Walk the dog, just the normal thing really, in the afternoon read and in the evening pub :-)

  22. It was I who won the bidding at Kinver, I paid what it was worth to me
  23. And there is also the possibility that the ice being dislodged may cut into a plastic boat, as there are pictures to prove this. I have been frozen in for about a month now, there is no way my boat would even break the ice, it has trouble getting into Stewpony Lock when the leaves are down, so 4-5 inches of ice is going to be a no no
