  1. Not the point whether he is paying or not. You jumped to conclusions in your first post, and jumped to other conclusions on your second post. Anyway, no worries. Apology accepted. Cheers.
  2. would you explain how you have reached this conclusion? Then I will p*** on it. Thank you
  3. His bird pays full rate as she has a lad at home. As for mail, different stuff goes to different places....depends what it is.
  4. Maybe he told them. I will ask him. You seem to have some knowledge of this. Can they do what they say?
  5. Dunno, mate. Computer database, maybe? What don't they know nowadays?
  6. A friend of mine has a boat at marina 'b'. He doesn't live on it, but spends a fair bit of time there. He has another boat in another county, spends time there and with his girlfriend. He is not down on paper as paying council tax but chips in with costs at his girlfriends. The council which covers marina 'b', have told him he must pay council tax there, irrespective of the fact that he doesn't live on it, because he isn't on the books as paying anywhere else. This cannot be right, surely?
  7. Skin so soft is good for some people. "After bite" is very good for what it says. Even eases the horse fly bites which are probably the worse you will encounter. It has been a very good year for wasps. Depending on your point of view.
  8. How utterly disgraceful. They should be tortured and gassed for polluting OUR canals and rivers with such a monstrosity.
  9. That is a stunning boat. Hats off to all concerned with it.
  10. A lot of the blacking MAY scrape off with one of those big scrapers you get at DIY shops. Sometimes it comes off, sometimes it doesn't. And get plenty of spare blades.
  11. That was for illustrative purposes only........!!!!! Fox 11.5m for £150 is more my style And I've just found a thread about this. Is the search facility a bit crap or am I being a ficky?
  12. Has anybody any experience of getting separate insurance for personal goods in their boat? I know most insurance offers some protection, but just wondered if you could get a bit extra elsewhere. Say for instance, I bought a £10000, 15m roach pole...... Many thanks.
  13. Better luck next time.
