My paloma was mounted in the bathroom and consequently the boat failed its Boat Safety exam. I had to have it moved to the galley. All to do with ventilation. By the way Paloma heaters are no longer made and spares are difficult to obtain or so I am told.

Beware the winding hole just above Stenson Lock, anything over about 45ft struggles and it is very shallow. It also has a nice roof clearing overhanging tree, as I know to my cost. You would be better using the Marina entrance.

Ragley Boat Stop was featured in the Derby Telegraph about 3 weeks/a month ago after being done by the Environmental Health people for breaching hygene regulations.

I too have read this. One gate will be at the bridge, the other at the end of their premises. The gates will not be able to be opened with a BW key. This also places the stop lock in the new 'secure' compound. Andy.
