Good question can anyone Paul? Lol From what I've only read on here it means I have to move to another parish every 14 Days, how far who knows ? We work on 4 miles every 7 days with 2 days back in the marina then 4 - 10 miles the opposite way out of the marina. The norm around here is 14 Days - move up 3 mile 14 Days - move up 3 mile Vice versa - this is not our pattern but it's works for others from what I can imagine.

Music to my ears and good to know thanks. We always obey the 'rules" anyway and rarely in 1 place for 7 days. Plus we keep a log book of where we stay and times.

I am the same, I dont know how police dog owners can send their dogs into battle with someone holding a knife. Even though their trained. You must be a softy like me when it comes to dogs. Lol Haha Athy that made me laugh ! So are you a poodle or a labra-poodle old 'chum'?

Well hopefully this guy will do dome tests and let us know what the crack is, we already knew the start battery was nackered so maybe your right a couple leasure ones maybe as well.

God it's complicated loafer, yes our invertor goes on float charge with a flashing yellow light I thought that was a trickle charge or something Good news we have booked someone to come and check everything out now. So it will get sorted. Thank you Loafer and everyone for your elpin! :-)

I really need some advice on buying batterys 1 starter and 4 leasure. We have Varta 110 starter Varte 110 leasure Apparently Varta have gone bump now can some give me advice on where to buy a decent brand batterys online please ? The sizes are Capacity 110 Ah Length 346 mm Width 172 mm Height inc. terms 239 mm We are after sealed units it's as well. I know I am cheeky. :-)

Advice on type of roof paint please

We only used 2.5 litres of Oxford Blue on the stern rails, it covered very well and had a lovely finish. I've never brushed/rollered or sprayed a Narrowboat roof before. Maybe someone who has can help you on how much paint you need. All the best with it. :-) -
Does putting a boat in a home mooring offline for three nights reset the 14 day rule ? We don't stay in one area more than 8 days anyway it's just a question really.

Well appreciate your help all and I definitely am not very good with electrics can someone please post me a link for a smart gauge? Just to add were getting an mppt controller with 500w solar would that give us any true info on the state of the battery bank once installed ?

Sorry lost my Internet loafer, Yer I think the battery I goofed I have prepped dad for the worst outcome anyway. We're getting 500w solar in a few weeks anyhow. New start and all that kinda thing. Cheers for elpin us loafer. :-)

Loafer I've just read that pdf manual apparently the batterys were replaced 2 years ago during the build. It's 4 Numax 110 leasure 1 enging battery as well 5 batterys I just pressed +- together to calibrate a full charge like the manual states.
