Your right their, their are lots of empty Mills in the Machester Area, over the last 10 years they seem to have stopped turning them into Flats which Its a waste.

That was similar to my Gran and her Partner they moved out of a small 1 Bed Bungalow in to a brand new 4 bedroom detached house, they have both passed away now but and we a currently empying the house, it turns out they were not using the upstairs at all in their final years and they seperated it off with a huge velvet curtain. I think I just have it in for yuppies in london with 2 or three houses to their name, I see them as snobs. That is what I meant when I was talking about London Snobs!, and not the average person struggling to keep one house.

Maybe they should build a huge Campsite in the middle of the country for people who cant afford to stay in London. Just as long as they can manage to get to work in the London Hospitals and tend to the cuts and grazes of those who can still afford to live in London. that would be fine!

Why should they be priced out of a City and have to leave the place grew up with Mum n Dad ect..... No one should be priced out of where they have lived all their lives. I never said everyone who lives in a big house was a Snob but quite a few are. truth.

Their are a lot of Snobs in big houses in London, that is the truth. At no time did I ever mention age on this thread maybe you saw that in Magnetmans post.

I never implied anyone should be moved out of any property or not have any right to live in a big house of which they must of worked hard for, I was merelely trying to describe how the space in london is not big enough for the amount of people and its set to get worse. Most of us rely on the NHS and the people who work in the hospitals such as Nurses however a lot of them cannot afford to live in London and end up moving to another part of the Country or decide to emigrate to a less chaotic overcrowded city. Their is a PC game called Sim City unless you manage the town properly you loose!

I dont think anyone has said people should not be living in their own houses. Maybe it was the idea that does not seem logical. example, if you have 20 people and ten tents surely it would seem sensible to allocate 2 persons to each tent and not overcrowd any other tents.

I agree Its like a bad game of monopoly. Their is definitely an element of look how much space we have darling compared to those poor people, did'nt we do well. Snobby very snobby and selfish imo only.

I would of only used my boat out of the marina for 2 nights a week and stayed within the red tape (hopefully), but to be honest I have had a few thoughts of sacking buying a Narrowboat from reading all the negativity towards the Crt on here. If the Crt is as bad as its made out on this forum then the canal system must be set to fail in the next decade. Disheartened with everything.

Maybe the Boat is out of the Water completely for work needed. Do boats need to be sworn offline ? The Op has not told us all the facts everything is stipulation for banter.
