    Hi Terry, Alfie is not the only boat out there with an eye catching paint job, there was a boat at sawley in the summer called heavy metal , the paintwork on that was fantastic too.

    my house sale is now progressing, just bought a caravan to live in whilst looking for the right boat. Exciting times indeed. And Terry , Alfie looks fantastic.

    totally agree. When we move aboard we will not be taking an electric kettle.240 will be for tv and phone/laptop charger.

    Do what we are doing. spend £1500 on a caravan , live in it and look for a boat at your leisure.

    I'd say good on C&RT. When you pay your money and licence your boat you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of said licence. If you don't then it's only fair not to have said licence renewed. Unless of course you have a valid reason for not complying, a medical problem for example.

    Hope you get sorted.Not nice being screwed over but I think what goes around comes around, so the nice person that did a runner will get his at some point.
