Sorry to post separately ,but it won't let me join thred ,light came on got to marina ,,took alternator of Tuesday morning ,,took it to be repaired .put it back on tuesday afternoon ,,,set off to do wolverhamton 21 got to the top light came back on ,,called him out took it off took it back to be repaired again ,put it back on this morning been running 3 hours all seems ok ,

Thanks tony I take on board of what you said thanks a lot .not knowing anything about amps voltage and all other terminology .thanks again ,,I was just a bit concerned abt using it ,I will get it done hopefully at marina tomorrow ,,,

Hi peeps started of this morning from norbury ,,got to gnossal ..battery light came on pulled over checked belts ok ..only changed last month ..limped to Wheaton Aston , some very kind knowledgable guy very kindly spent half hour finding out which one it was ,he put is magic wand on the two alternators ,turned out it was the starter one ..which is 75amp are you still with me there's more ,,when I replace the crap one some told us we don't need a 75 amp one , but I would say whats been there for 7 years just replace with the same ,,or was he righ to say that ,,so I am at brewood at the moment heading for oxeley marina ,,to see if they can help ,,,but if anyone is passing and have said one for sale please drop me a email ..also if oxeley can not help would I be ok to carry. One as I have to be at hawne basin for Friday ,,using it as it is will it do much harm ,,as you can tell not very mick can e cull .minded Thanks for letting me bore you regards

Hi I tried to join in the topic on this subject ,,but it wont lett me again I'm getting peed of with it to be honest ,,,reading the threads I thought I would take my trumpet horn apart ,,,it had not been looked at since it stopped working 3 years or more ,,,I done what you did mr ambrose ,,took it all apart ...my the grunge and rubbish that where inside ,,,everything in there bar the kitchen sink on it for about an hour ,,,,,guess what it still did not work lol but to be honest there did not seem to be a lot wrong with it ,,,well there is it don't work ,,,I will take it apart tomorrow and have another look

Well I thought it was only me I had the crome trumpet shaped horn fitted to the front of the boat and it was open to the elements it worked abt 4 months ,and has not honked for about 4years now lol I think that was 50quid down the drain

Yer sorry it's. A tecma as for the actual toilet I won't now till I get back home and look for a serial number ,,I would suspect it would have been the top one ,,,for my back side .

Hi every one ,,I will be having my pump out toilet taken out very soon which when completed every thing will be there all ,push button electrics ,toilet stainless tank ,,,it was only fitted in 3 years ago ,I have been told I should not have it taken out ,,but it as not been used for over 2years (let myself open there )lol thing is what would be a reasonable price I could ask for it ,,it cost well over a grand ,,,I can not give it away as I'm not flush thanks for reading ,any one interested email me ,,thanks

Most ccers do it because they want too don't they .what with the cost of fuel and the like ,they are not that much better off I don't think as they would be in a marina ,,maybe wrong on that tho cc.er would have to tell you that one

CRT say its up to you to inform the counsel ,as far as I could tell it was not compulsory ,I informed them because I did not want a massive bill for not paying it ..as I knew tax had to be paid as I knew the people who had the morring before me paid it , as for leisure morrings every man and is dog know peeps use them as residential ,nothing wrong with that in my book ,there s more to worry about in this world then tax ,,some times I worry about my punctuation and grammar then I do about paying tax but then again dislexia is another story lol

And I luv it and would have it no other way ,,it suits my way of life and those who cc it there way of life

I have a reso morring and you are told by CRT to inform council concerning tax ,and yes I do pay it but I don't no abt marinas as I'm not in one ,,

True in the day you could have a narrow boat on the canal for years with out bss insurance the lot ..not now tho ,maybe our older boaters would remember a lovely old fella who was moored on the brum/worcs cut near stoke prior ,,he had no bss no ins,licence and moored where he did for years ,the guy never tried to hide from is obligations he just refused to bend to them ,,there would be a name for him ,but it was not a piss taker I' know first hand of that

Frangar said it all I think ,and I agree, it's not about him using the wrong words ,more abt being a human being ,,,I am not a cc I have reso.mooring ,but I must cruise at least 7/8 months of the year ,,it seems all cc are painted with the same brush ,,but that's the way of it I'm afraid ok so what if some stay over one or two days ,,shot them then ,,if they got all the paper work needed for there boat what harm does a day or two matter ,,I have stayed over more time then I care to remember ,,,shhhh ,pls don't shoot me ,just imagine if all the boats in there marinas stayed put ,,and more do ,,then go out and that's a fact ,,and we had now c c ers ,the cuts would be in a right mess .tomorrow when you are boating about and a cc passes you ,,most not all have some sort of stuff on top of there boat mainly tree trunks ,well if you had got to wait for CRT to move it ,,,say no more ,,,we all no the piss takers I'm not on about those the least said about them the better ,,and to be honest people go on about how nice the boating world is ,,,I thought the horse people community,,where stuck up. I will be having my boat 2 packed in September it was shot blasted and 2pacted 4 years ago so I will see first hand how good this as stood up ,in my mind for something to last 7/ 10years under water I have my doughts ,but the proof will be in the pudding come September
