yes correct,thankyou for clarifying that before i did,for the diehards that dont know aswell,it still retains its original motorboat swim and sternpost right up to the uxter plate area.so still a full motorboat.

Generally low oil pressure when hot on h series engines indicates excessive clearance in the main bearing/big end shells.if the journals are good and not out of round then a simple.ish shell replacement will sort that out.but having said that...some oil pressure is better than none.also if you use a good api cc morris 20/50 oil of low detergent spec then it will help a little when hot with oil pressure hence 50 grade ☺ glad you got it sorted.i did think that zulu had a ha2 not hr2 but i must be mistaken ☺lovely people who had zulu.nice boat you have there ☺

Piece of cake liam to swap reduction boxes over.as richard says,far easier than swapping whole gearbox.just make sure you have room to pull reduction box off and make sure the leather seal is good condition or you will introduce gear oil into the engine

Hi alan.as i said when we spoke on the phone, check the nut on the end of the reduction box first then failing that make sure bearings have not broken up,reduction box side then if all fails remove cluster and check shaft nut,its a rectangular nut with a machine screw locking it into place.make sure that has not come loose.good luck
