It is very good being diagnosed. Apart from taking advice from fellow EDS'ers. And having access to adequate doctors, painkillers and physio therapy. I can now say f**k off to any one calling me fussy and lazy. Funny how invisible pain is often seen as make believe pain.

The mystery is solved. I did not have fibromyalgia, neuropathy, arthritis or anything ells the docs guessed previously. I have EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome). A genetic deficiency of collagen affecting all connective tissue in the body. My mother was diagnosed a few months ago and since it is inherited, I had to go to the specialist to. I mentioned the boat thing to the doc. And sleeping better while gently rocking made perfect sense to him due to increased circulation.

If a friend of mine with an apple device couldn't be bothered to download an app that works for both of us. But expects me to do it. Would find himself being replaced or dumped pretty soon. But if it's family. Well, then you're f'ed and forced to ;-) I live in a Apple, Windows and Android household and Skype works just fine across all three.

I'm skint. And the chances of me getting there are looking very bleak at the moment. But if I do stumble into enough money for tickets, a jar of marmite, a loaf and a few pints. Does anyone have a spare bunk or a little floor space for me?

All the time. Socks for a rabbit, socks for a sack of potatoes, a lamb for a piglet, help in the garden for a pie, a hat for help with the car, a visit to the coffee house for a ride into town.....and so on.

Yes, I realised that :-) Some of the Greek restaurants use cinnamon. Some don't. I quite like it. There's a cheap lamb or rabbit stew that goes into the bread oven that's loaded with cinnamon too. Can't remember the name now......lots of onions, goes all caramelised. Dunk bread in it. Wash down with a bottle of Retzina or Athos, or two.... Can you tell I haven't been there for a while? Going all sentimental. Love it! :-)

Sounds lovely. I slice yesterdays boiled potatoes in the layers as well and add a little cinnamon to the tomato sauce.
