I know she was broken up. She was the first boat I knew and even her knees have a lot ot be responsible for, it's just that one half of that couple, who I could certainly imagine "getting the vibe" was one of those responsible for me being a boater these days so I wondered whether, knowing that they'd bow hauled/hitched tows back to Macclesfield whether you'd met them? Pheasant stew worked well, I'm generally veggie as I refuse to buy factory farmed meat so it was a pleasant change to eat something wild. I'll post a recipe if anyone is interested.

That's what a few less ethical providers rely on, it's difficult to find out unless you go on a war footing and... ask!

I miss logs... I'm going to have to wait 'til next weekend before I can split what we've dropped today as it's a bit off the beaten. When did this happen? Cambrian has been my home mooring for over 2 years and I've never heard of it.

But Boo Boo was a really nice dog and she'll be missed!

It's too late at night to start tracking down statistics so I'll just ask a question... Have we any responsibility for the world upon which we live? In another way, many folk have asked whether we're intelligent enough to beat a population curve that's been around for about 2.5 billion years. Anyone up for trying? Come on kids look forward, we're probably the first population since dolphins figured it out and got back in that might just have a chance, if we move quickly enough to sort it out, or at least minimize our impact so as to give it a fighting chance so "it's all the volcanoes' fault" doesn't wash in my book. Oh blimey, don't say Rats! last time we hit a new mooring Gert went mad and ate half the rat population, the other half she left lying around the boat, in Bagpuss's boots, in the laundry basket, and trailing betwixt cat flap and bathroom. I had to reel it's guts in on a pencil. I nearly ended up single! In a public spirit, now they're finding their feet, is the wood store close enough for a cat to find? Love HWMO
