Hi Alan

Its quite clear that a shut off valve should be on all fuel feeds.

Does that include the return.?

I have a feeling a tap is now required on the return if you have  "rubber" leak off pipes but I may have misunderstood. A return should go to and end in the top of the tank so in the case of fire it should not be able to leak fuel apart from what is in the pipe.
