JB Segal
The boat I’ll be borrowing for a month has a small propane fridge (Electrolux). I have friends with a LARGE propane fridge in the all-wood cabin on an island in the woods. They leave it on whenever they’re at the cabin, whether they’re nearby or not (IE: all weekend or week, but even when they’ve gone back to the mainland to do things during the visit. I also have seen a lot of “turn off the propane when you leave the boat” warnings, which would make the fridge sort of useless. What do y’all do, or what DID you do when you had a fire-based fridge. system 4-50
On all the time unless leaving the boat for a week or more.
Machpoint005
"Leaving the boat" in this context means "...and going away for several days or weeks". When we had a share of a share boat, the gas was never turned off.
JB Segal
Ok, that was the only sane answer, but I wanted to be sure. Thanks.
