By all means. I am not averse to charitable funding of public art. I used to contribute to a local project, until I discovered I was paying twice, but only once voluntarily.

 

Anyone who buys a lottery ticket is voluntarily delegating the decision of who to donate the money to, so can't complain if it is chucked at an art project they will either hate or never see.

 

SWMBO is an art graduate who agrees with me btw.
