Shear pin for BCS bow thruster

Hello

Coming down the Atherstone flight we saw that there was a lot of flotsam, mainly twigs and stuff. My wife was driving and in the high wind was using the bow thruster to help line up with the lock when I heard a nasty log-in-the-prop sound.

Now the motor whirs but no thrust.

i have taken off the motor and yes, the little shear pin has done its job and sacrificed itself and sheared!

Question is where can I get a replacement (s)?  It is a BCS one.

i know such devices are not essential but if one is fitted, I'm keen to use it!

We're moored at Fradley junction and will be heading east to Nottingham on th T&M.

Will,try all the wharves, yards, marinas and Chandlers as we go but if anyone either has a spare pin or knows exactly where we can one or two, we'd be exceedingly grateful!

Looks like a 2 to 3 mm brass pin - Vetus do em - would they fit?

Take the broken pieces into an out board motor sales outlet, a shear pin for an OBM can probably made or modified to fit

Still no luck - will try all the yards on the T&M as we go!
