What type of boat do you like?

trad stern for me had a semi trad on our share boat and now have a trad on our boat,

would never have a cruiser refused look at any whilst searching for a boat

Trad - but not for any of the reasons stated.

 

I don't always stand in the door. Partly this is because I'm being contrary and too many people insist it is the "correct" place to steer a trad from, but mainly because I prefer to sit on the roof with Circe sitting on the other side. We can chat while we move, and we send the domestic staff (the kids) back and forth for tea and biscuits.

 

The other reason I prefer a trad is because I think a cruiser stern (and even a semi-trad) looks like wasted space. You get more interior space with a trad, and that is far more useful.
