Llangollen Canal access to Chirk Station

We wish to pick up a couple of crew members at Chirk Station. Is it possible to moor after the Chirk Tunnel and walk to the Chirk station from the canal tow path? If not, any suggestions.

dead straightforward, I often do this with my wife, and yes it's easier from the Trevor/ northern entrance

Good moorings at the north end of the tunnel. We overnighted there and it was very pleasant. If you're boat is deep, be aware that the "layby" moorings are shallow and full of rocks. The normal bank just beyond is a much better bet.
